1. Background
Tamkeen for Legal Aid and Human Rights is implementing a project titled "Strengthening National Capacities Towards Enhanced Protective and Preventive Environment Related to Child Labor", supported by the Regional Development and Protection Programme (RDPP III). As part of the project’s efforts to enhance the capacities of community-based organizations (CBOs) working on child labor and labor rights issues, Tamkeen seeks to engage qualified trainers to deliver specialized training sessions for CBO staff in targeted areas across Jordan.
2. Objective of the Assignment
The objective of this assignment is to equip CBO staff with practical skills and technical knowledge in essential areas related to the protection of working children and effective project implementation. These trainings will enable CBOs to deliver high-quality, comprehensive services and prepare effective reports.
3. Training Topics
Tamkeen is seeking qualified trainers to provide training on the following topics:
- Psychosocial Support Sessions
- Techniques for individual and group psychosocial support
- Case assessment and referral mechanisms
- Report Writing and Result Presentation
- Narrative and financial report writing
- Data analysis methods
- Effective presentation of findings
- Advanced Case Management (Child Labor Focus)
- Intake and follow-up of child labor cases
- Multi-sectoral coordination and documentation
- Legal and ethical frameworks
- Financial Training for Non-Finance Staff
- Budgeting and financial reporting basics
- Use of basic financial tools and templates
- Compliance with donor requirements
- Project Proposal Writing
- Logical framework approach
- Problem analysis and objective setting
- Proposal and budget drafting
4. Scope of Work
The trainer will be responsible for:
- Developing detailed training materials and a session schedule aligned with the needs of CBO staff
- Delivering in-person training sessions
- Conducting pre- and post-training assessments
- Submitting a final report including outputs, evaluation results, and recommendations
5. Expected Deliverables
- Approved training agenda and materials by Tamkeen
- Delivery of each training session (coordinated with Tamkeen)
- Pre- and post-training assessments
- Final report per training topic
6. Duration and Location
The training sessions will be conducted between May and June 2025, with specific dates to be determined. Trainings will take place in Amman.
Each topic will be delivered over the course of a full training day.
7. Trainer Qualifications
- Proven expertise in the relevant training field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in training and capacity building with civil society or community-based organizations
- Previous experience working on child labor, protection, or development projects is an asset
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills in Arabic (English is an asset)
